Sony equips schools in Cyprus with high quality projectors

Athens, 10 September 2009 – Sony Hellas, in cooperation with its dealer in Cyprus, Logicom Public Ltd, the largest IT company of the local market, were awarded the tender announced by the Cypriot Ministry of Education and Culture for the procurement of 1.256 Sony VPL-EX5 projectors to be used in schools around the country.

The Sony VPL-EX5 projectors have already been delivered to Logicom and the delivery of the units to the schools, which began during the summer of 2009, is expected to be completed by the end of September 2009. Apart from this procurement, Sony, through Prime Support, has undertaken the projectors' maintenance for the next five years.

It is worth noting that this is the second largest installation undertaken by Sony Hellas in the education sector, as 4 years ago it was awarded a respective tender in Greece for the installation of 1.000 projectors in High Schools.
